New year, New start, New me!

Image
It's hard to believe that 2012 is gone and done with. So much has happened, and time flies by! I moved to a new house, got a job with Ralph Lauren, started riding again and found a wonderful church. But i have realized that sometimes God has to force you out of seasons in your life to get you to where you need to be. The past year and a half has been a chapter of faith and learning to let go of what you cannot control. there are people you have to learn to let go of and situation's that are sometimes unbearable. When it seems like everything is going against you, that is when you have to trust that God is behind you. it's been hard learning to deal with these situation's but it has made me into and incredibly strong person because of it. There is a lot that I would like to do, and make new resolutions for the new year. such as getting fit, eating right, being more productive, getting a better job. These are all great, but if God was able to get me through the past y...

For the Glory of Old State

Image
It was so good to be back to my home away from home, Penn State over Blue and White Weekend. It was so good to get in touch with friends, places I used to go and just being around campus again. Life changes so much once college is done, and life keeps moving forward. My two years at State College have been the best and most challenging years of my college career. I made some of my best friends and over came many fears and obstacles. I grew so fast as a person and took on many responsibilities.  You come to realize that everything in life is not predictable and sometimes you have to role with the punches. When I reflect on old memories it makes me happy but sad. Knowing that you can't go back to those times again and just have to live with the memories. Moving out of 216 Young Hall was so difficult. I didn't want to do it. It was my home, my life and my independence. I miss walking down College Ave. and taking a study break, and going to late night's in the HUB with...

It's Spring Time!

Image
Hello Everyone! It's been awhile since I have posted. So here is a new update.  Life has been crazy busy for me lately. My family and I moved to Lancaster about a month ago, and it's been a lot of changes and adjustments. I am working on getting settled in with were i am at now, and it's been quite and adventure. I'm starting to realize that as i am getting older, the more responsibly and requirements are. There are still a lot that I want to do and it's going to take a lot to get there. I can't change the past, but you can only learn from it. It's been a learning experience in all aspects of life. I am looking forward to what the future holds and what new opportunities lies ahead. 'Life is like photography, you develop from the negatives' and that's very true. i'm thankful for everyone I have in my life, and so blessed with everything i have learned! ~ Lindsay

It's Christmas!

It's the holiday season again and Christmas is an amazing time to share with family and friends. It's been a progression of traditions and events around the area, and there's nothing like a warm blanket and hot chocolate. It's been a trying eventual year. It has been a progress of many changes, from letting go, finishing college and not knowing what the future holds. It's been a real struggle at times, but knowing that everything happens for a reason, gives faith and hope to move forward. But I am looking forward to what the future has to offer and where life will lead next. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!  ~ Lindsay ✩
