Because God is faithful, our lives will be fruitful
Because God is faithful, our lives will be fruitful.
There are blessings in the waiting. We live in a culture where we want everything now. We want and want, but don't put in the effort for things to grow. Everything takes time. I'm not saying that if it's right, then go for it. Sometimes you just have to take a chance or that chance won't come again. But God's timing is perfect. He is never late or too early. We jump into relationships to soon and then end in devastating consequences. A relationship is one of the most important decisions of our lives, and we need to not be reckless with our hearts and of others.
In the Bible, everything took time. Jesus was thirty-three when He came to his ministry. There are other stories where it took until later in life to receive that blessing. But it's what we do in the waiting that matters. God can use that time for other things. I shouldn't feel left behind because I'm not married with two kids or have a dream job and a house. It will come in time. But we do a good job at making people who aren't 'there' yet feel that way. Life is hard if your married or single. It doesn't matter. You shouldn't compare peoples struggles.
God is the only One who can fill that void. Because you know what, being married won't fill that void. No one person can. No matter how much money you have or shoes, it won't fulfill that void. I know we all have days where it hits you so bad and you get depressed seeing all your friends meet someone and have kids. But on other days, I'm glad I can do what I want and just live my life. Here's the thing, if you don't work through your junk in your life while your single, you will have an easier relationship in the future. If your someone who got married younger in life, your going to go through it with your spouse. It will be hard, and you will have to work through it all together.
It doesn't mean getting married in your thirties won't mean a hard relationship, since you are dealing with someone's past, but you should be more solid in who you are. Because everything takes time! God has a plan and a purpose for all of us, and stop comparing your life to others! We need to learn to be more raw and open about our hardships. Be real with people.
